Meet Glowsure’s Client Executive
When not bustin’ a dance move or two at a party Emily champions our customers’ causes and is always ready for any emergency they throw at her. Let’s get to know our Client Executive.
Tell us a bit about yourself
I’ve been married for 7 years and have two boys Jacob 9 and Elliott 6, family time is my most important priority.
How did you start in Insurance?
I started working in the insurance industry through family, so by accident! I was with Keelan Westall from 2004 to 2016 as an Assistant Account Executive and then joined Glowsure in 2016.
What three words would you use to describe yourself?
Loyal, fun loving and adventurous.
What did you want to be when you grew up?
When I was younger, I wanted to be an ice skater until I hit the ice and was like Bambi.
What would you most like to achieve in life?
Me and my partner plan to climb Snowdon however have recently been put off by finding out you should train and there is snow at the top…who knew! My husband recently filmed me dancing at a party and I found out I have some amazing moves maybe I could use this in life somehow? Also, as a family we would really like a dog but have told the kids that there fighting has to stop. One day we would like a small holding for us to grow our own fruit and veg and for animals.
What do you like doing when not in the office?
Walking, pubs, adventures, camping, holidays, family gatherings, having fun, laughing, not taking life to seriously (cleaning) haha.
Tell us one interesting/weird fact about yourself.
Me and Jon lived in a camper for 6 months and travelled Australia. Wesley Haynes is my brother (is that even interesting)?
What three famous people (dead or alive) would you invite to a dinner party?
I would invite David Attenborough to hear of his great adventures, Harry Redknapp for the laughs and Marilyn Monroe so we could get drunk and practice her famous moves in that dress.
Who or what inspires you?
The people who have the most impact on me inspire me and that is my family.
What gets you enthused about getting up and coming to work every morning?
The challenge of the job gets me going, when a client rings to say they are uninsured it turns me into panic mode and If there was a big red button in the office to say emergency, I would push it. If I know I am providing the best cover and service to our clients then I’m happy.
What do you like about working at Glowsure?
As a team we get along very well and on our good and bad days we have each other to rely on.
