Meet Glowsure’s Client Manager
Tell us a bit about yourself
Born and bred in Hampshire. I’ve lived here for most of my life apart from a spell of around 5 years living and working in Harrogate, North Yorkshire. I’m half Welsh and very proud of my Welsh heritage (and a proud Welsh rugby supporter).
How did you start in Insurance?
I started my career back in 1989 in a busy and lively insurance brokers. I’ve moved Companies several times since then (all in a Broking environment) and here I am today, still enjoying my job and working with some great people
What three words would you use to describe yourself?
Independent, Adventurous, Open-minded
What would you most like to achieve in life?
To get to the end with no regrets!
What gets you enthused about getting up and coming to work every morning?
My commute to work across the glorious South Downs gets me set up well for all the challenges a new day brings.
If you didn’t love working at Glowsure so much and you won the lottery what would you do?
Share my good fortune with family and friends. The travel the world, meeting new people and experiencing different cultures/foods/wines/climates/landscapes.
If you were a superhero, what would your superpower be?
Wonder Woman without a doubt – a wild and spirited woman who wants to protect humanity and fight for all that is morally ‘right’. Oooh as to what superpower would I like?….I think it would have to be to read minds. It would be fascinating to really find out how other people see the world around them.
Tell us one interesting/weird fact about yourself
I once managed to crowd surf onto the stage with Bon Jovi at the Milton Keynes Bowl!
What three famous people (dead or alive) would you invite to a dinner party?
Roald Dahl (for his imaginative story telling – who remembers Tales of the Unexpected?) Lee Mack (for the laughs) and Leonardo Di Caprio
What do you like doing when not in the office?
I am a keen walker (in all weathers) especially when there’s a good country pub offering a good pie and chips and crisp cold glass of wine at the end! I definitely have an affinity with the water and love living near the coast. I quite often get out on the sea for a paddle on my kayak. Spending time with my amazing family and friends.
